Central Sanskrit University, (formerly Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan) is established by an Act of Parliament, 2020 under Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.
CSU is also the nodal agency in implementation of Central Schemes of GoI for promotion and propagation of Sanskrit.
Central Sanskrit University is the only multi-campus institution through which Sanskrit learning spread across the country.
Through regular mode CSU offers various programmes like Prak-Shastri (10+2), Shastri (B. A.), Acharya (M. A.), Vidya Varidhi (Ph. D.) and professional courses like Shiksha-Shastri (B. Ed.) and Shiksha-Acharya (M. Ed.).
Also, through Mukta-Swadhyaya-Peetham (MSP), the university offers various diploma, certificate and other graduate courses in both distance and online modes.
Apart from above, for Sanskrit lovers, CSU promotes Non-Formal Sanskrit Education and Correspondence Education also.
With nominal fees, admission on all India merit basis and accordingly award of scholarships for eligible students.
